Anthony Harris - Director

Anthony Harris is a highly experienced and astute adviser who advises a wide range of diverse clients based in the UK and overseas. He is a Chartered Certified Accountant and a member of the Association of Business Recovery Professionals.

Anthony has over 30 years experience in advisory work. He advises both businesses and individuals with varying degrees of financial difficulty, skillfully finding innovative solutions to complex problems. Anthony's significant expertise encompasses investigations, devising recovery strategies, and acting as a Liquidator or Administrator where necessary.

As a registered auditor, he maintains a portfolio of thriving audit clients, using his breadth of experience to give sound commercial advice and has built up a knowledge of litigation support work. He has considerable experience in advising corporate clients with challenges in their businesses including management, cash, profitability and funding issues. Additionally he advises clients on issues of ‘Risk Management’ within their businesses. Anthony also chairs PLaN —Critchleys' quarterly property networking forum.

Anthony regularly talks at conferences both in the UK and overseas*. He has sat on the European Executive of JHI (an international network of Accountants and Business advisers represented in over 50 countries worldwide) and maintains a considerable interest in international issues. His understanding of the operations of non-UK companies enables him to relate well to foreign businessmen and understand their needs and aims within the UK business community. He is also able to advise UK business’s wishing to establish themselves overseas through the business advisers that he knows and has met from across Europe and beyond.

Anthony lives in Cumnor, near Oxford, with his wife and young son, and enjoys playing bridge with his local Witney team. He loves travelling, particularly to mountainous areas where he can get in some serious hill walking - he recently achieved a long-held ambition of climbing Mount Toukbal in the Atlas Mountains of North Africa. Anthony is a keen supporter of Gloucester Rugby Club, whose progress he follows closely.
