Robert Kirtland

Robert specialises in advising voluntary organisations and businesses. A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, he is the firm's Managing Director and Head of the Charities Team.

Robert's client portfolio is charity focused, and he has an in-depth understanding of the issues that charities face. He also acts for a significant number of independently-owned businesses. Robert provides expert, commercially-focused advice, which is now as important in the voluntary sector as it is in business.

Robert has held a number of voluntary charity positions including: Treasurer of the Dorchester Abbey appeal which raised over £4m, member of the Audit Committee of Oxford Brookes University and Trustee of Charity Centre Oxford which has facilitated a new building exclusively for not for profit sector organizations in Oxford.

Robert also enjoys skiing, golf, mountain biking and poker, which he tries to squeeze in whenever he can. Robert is married to Alison, and they have two young children, Charlotte and Edward.
