How Brexit will impact the Filings with Companies House

How Brexit will impact the Filings with Companies House

What is it?

The UK’s exit from EU impacts the information that some companies are required to file with Companies House.

Who is it for?

A UK registered company, or LLP with a corporate director or secretary, that is not a UK registered “limited company” now needs to provide additional information to Companies House.

How does it work?

You are required to confirm –

  • The legal form of the corporate officer; and
  • The law by which it is governed

The deadline to supply the additional information is 31 March 2021.

What should I do next?

  • Identify if your company or a corporate member of your company is classed as a UK-registered limited-company
  • Provide the additional information to Companies House by 31 March 2021

If you would like further information or assistance, then please do not hesitate to contact our Company Secretary, Sara Shrouti, who will be happy to help.
