Trainee Payroll Administrator

We have a vacancy for a trainee payroll administrator to join our payroll team at Critchleys.

The role

The Payroll Team provides payroll services to over 300 client companies of all sizes.  A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our busy and expanding payroll team as a trainee.

The main responsibilities of this role will be to:

  • Liaise with clients to obtain their payroll information
  • Work closely with clients to resolve payroll queries
  • Process their payroll using our payroll software package
  • General administration duties including auto enrolment admin
  • Communication with HMRC and other external third parties

The person

We are looking for a team player who has excellent communication and IT skills, and be a quick learner. You will be expected to be extremely accurate, meet tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure

No experience of payroll is required as we will fund and support your training towards recognised payroll qualifications through the CIPP (Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals). You may already have some experience in finance or admin and want to retrain but this role would also suit someone leaving school, college or university and looking for their first job
