Formal Grievance and Disciplinary Processes

Case Study

In small companies it is sometimes necessary to provide outside support in safely managing formal grievance or disciplinary processes. For example, if managers are part of the situation that is being considered, the company may run out of managers able to impartially hear an appeal.

An organisation may wish to protect itself from accusations of an unfair process by bringing in outside support.

Here’s how we can help. One of our client’s employees raised a grievance about some staff, including its managers.

The client sought our services to be an independent party to conduct a thorough, fair and reasonable investigation into the allegations.

The employee appealed and we facilitated an appeal hearing.  We ensured objectivity and confidentiality throughout and protected the interests of our client while ensuring a legally compliant and procedurally fair process
