Business Services Line Manager

An exciting opportunity for a people-focused team manager to lead and manage our busy Business Services team.

The role

This is a hugely varied role with a large degree of autonomy suitable for a commercially astute finance professional who thrives in leading and engaging a team to fulfil their potential.

As Business Services Line Manager, you will be responsible for managing and driving the Business Services team to deliver excellent client service. You will be actively engaged on a day to day basis with all aspects of the employee journey, including talent attraction and retention, staff performance and development, and other people management processes.

You will work closely with Managers, Directors and Partners, identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities, and take an active role in Firm wide projects to deliver business growth and increased client service.

The person

This role demands that you are able to communicate effectively to a high standard, and have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with others.

You will be highly organised and motivated, and have a commercial outlook. You must be future focused with competent IT skills and have a desire to provide innovative solutions.

You will be a qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA, or qualified by experience) with proven team leadership and management skills.

You will ideally have experience in managing a client portfolio and be competent in areas of a general accountancy practice environment.
