Payroll Administrator

We are looking for a payroll administrator to join our successful HR & Payroll team who provide payroll services to over 300 client companies of all sizes.

The role

We are looking for a payroll administrator to join our successful HR & Payroll team who provide payroll services to over 300 client companies of all sizes.

Main responsibilities of the role will be to:

  • Process client payrolls on a weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual basis;
  • Communicate with HMRC on a regular basis;
  • Work closely with clients to deal with payroll issues and obtain the relevant information
  • Develop trusted relationships with clients through the provision of excellent service and regular contact;
  • complete new starter checklists, auto enrolment admin, P45 and other relevant HMRC documentation;
  • Manipulation of spreadsheets and billing clients

The person

We are looking for someone who has excellent communication, organisational and IT skills. You will have exceptional attention to detail and be accurate and meticulous in your work.

Team work, the ability to prioritise workload and having a flexible, adaptable attitude will be needed in this busy role. You will be client focused and have the confidence to work on your own to meet deadlines.

The ideal candidate will be studying towards their CIPP qualification and seeking a career in payroll. You need to be experienced in running payroll either by professional qualification or be qualified by experience. Experience in a payroll environment in a similar role is desirable.
