As a Tax Advisor, you will provide high level tax advice to business owners, SMEs and larger corporates as well as undertaking and reviewing high level tax compliance for the Firm’s clients, including personal, partnership and company tax returns.
You will proactively be involved with tax business development initiatives and winning new business for the Firm with the support of our Business Development team. You will be contributing to the development of professional relationships, internally and externally, with a key objective of creating new tax advisory project opportunities.
You will contribute to the development of tax consultancy work and projects for the Firm as a whole, cross-selling to other departments, and assist colleagues with general tax advice.
You will have a genuine interest in our clients and have a desire to put them first. It is essential that you have strong interpersonal skills to interact with others externally, with both professional contacts and clients, as well as a proven ability to work and communicate with a variety of colleagues in different service teams from trainee to partner levels.
You will have the ability to adapt to changing conditions to meet deadlines and be flexible in your approach to a range of appropriate tasks/projects and people. You will be able to motivate and develop junior staff and contribute to team meetings.
It is essential that you have a proven track record of professional experience in providing tax advisory and tax compliance services. It is desirable that you have an appropriate tax qualification (ATT/ACA/CTA) and accounting knowledge would be a benefit in this role.
