Trainee Payroll Administrator

We have a vacancy for a trainee payroll administrator to join our payroll team at Critchleys.

The role

Are you looking for a new career in 2019? Would you like to develop a career in payroll with a leading accountancy firm?

We are looking for a trainee payroll administrator to join our successful HR & Payroll team who provide payroll services to over 300 client companies of all sizes.

Main responsibilities of the role will be to:

  • liaise with clients to obtain their payroll information
  • work closely with clients to resolve payroll queries
  • process their payroll using our payroll software package
  • general administration duties including auto enrolment admin
  • communication with HMRC and other external third parties.

The person

We are looking for someone who has excellent communication, organisational and IT skills. You will have exceptional attention to detail and be accurate and meticulous in your work.

Teamwork, the ability to prioritise workload and having a flexible, adaptable attitude will be needed in this busy role. You will also have the confidence to work on your own initiative and will be a quick learner.

No experience of payroll is required as we will fund and support your training towards recognised payroll qualifications through the CIPP (Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals). You may already have some experience in administration and want to retrain or you may be someone leaving school, college or university and looking for your first job.
