For those who may not be aware, HMRC has released a new service where employers can set up a new variable direct debit with the revenue to automatically collect any PAYE amount due in each tax month after you submit your RTI submissions.
This is a great new free service that employers should take advantage of, as this will take the hassle out of remembering to pay over your PAYE liability. The automatic collection will also help employers avoid late penalties and interest charges.
