£885,000 raised for Learning With Experts

Kinetix Critchleys Corporate Finance have helped Learning with Experts complete a Series A funding round, exceeding its target of £750,000 and raising £885,000.

Learning with Experts offers a range of courses across gardening, photography, food and more delivered on-line. Funds are being used to grow both the Company’s B2B and B2C business streams, and to invest in the technology platform.

Elspeth Briscoe founded the business in 2015 following her early career at eBay, Skype and Guardian Media. The Company’s focus is on providing students with a uniquely collaborative online learning experience working with tutors that are amongst the most renowned experts in their field.

Following the funding round, Rupert Pennant-Rea (investor and ex-Deputy Governor of Bank of England) has joined the Board as independent non-executive Chairman. David Armfield (investor and Partner of Kinetix Critchleys Corporate Finance) has joined as a Director.

Kinetix Critchleys Corporate Finance acted for the Company in the round, raising investment from a number of international HNW investors who have also been instrumental in positioning the business to grow in a number of category and regional markets.
