Katherine is a Chartered Accountant and joined Critchleys as an Audit Partner in 2021.
Before joining the Critchleys Audit team, Katherine trained with a firm in Tunbridge Wells before spending time in industry. Katherine returned to practice in 2003 and has spent a large portion of her career with a big four firm, KPMG, where she gained extensive accounts and audit experience in both the commercial and charitable sectors.
She specialises in charity and academy audits, and her diverse charity portfolio includes many Oxford colleges through to small local charities. Katherine’s portfolio also includes multiple international groups and companies in the technology, software, manufacturing and distribution sectors.
Katherine is a Trustee and Chair of the Finance Committee for the Oxford Playhouse, Chair of Cold Ash Brass, where she also enjoys performing, is a Scouting volunteer, and has previously spent five years as a local special school governor.
