Marc Taylor

Marc is a qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals.

He is an experienced Payroll Services Director who has gained a wealth of knowledge from working within the payroll and pensions industry over the last 10 years.

As a Payroll Services Director, Marc works with clients in a wide range of sectors, including charities, corporate businesses and startups and he is always happy to assist with any payroll queries his clients may have.

Marc also has experience in the payroll and pensions implementation process and with guiding clients regarding their employer duties when starting up a new payroll or when migrating their current payroll across to Critchleys.

What I enjoy most about payroll is the technical migration aspect of the role and helping client’s understand, in simple terms, the payroll process from start to finish. I also really enjoy complex calculations and year-to-date update corrections as the feeling of accomplishment correcting payroll errors is extremely rewarding.

In my spare time I love to travel, cook and make use of my Japanese degree studying towards the JLPT.

Critchleys is a well-established payroll bureau that offers its clients a personalised service that you don't usually find with other larger payroll bureaus. As a client, you will have access to your own personalised payroll administrator who is always on hand to answer your questions or who is always there just to talk through any complicated queries that you may have when you need confirmation or a second opinion. Our administrators are also here to protect and guide your payroll journey ensuring that you are always abiding within the law and legislation outlined by HMRC.

I also understand the need and importance of fluid communication that is jargon-free and delivered in a way that is easy to understand.
