Green Homes Grant

Green Homes Grant

What is it?

The government will fund up to £2 billion worth of grants for green home improvements.

Who is it for?

Homeowners and landlords in England

How does it work?

Homeowners and landlords in England will be able to apply for vouchers from a £2 billion Green Homes Grant scheme this year to pay for green improvements such as loft, wall and floor insulation.

There will be a £1 billion programme to make public buildings, including schools and hospitals, across England greener and helping the country meet its Net Zero ambition by 2050.

There will also be £50m towards making social housing greener, supporting landlords to improve the least energy efficient social rented homes.

What should I do next?
