Case Study

A professional services client needed guidance on a TUPE situation, where a grouping of employees was transferring from one company across to another.

We advised on the HR aspects in relation to employment law, particularly the contracts of employment.

We drafted and advised on the new employment contracts to reflect the TUPE situation but also with specific beneficial changes for the employees.

We supported the client both before and after the transfer date.

We also advised on other areas in which the client needed to take into consideration, such as communications, liabilities and signposting them to other services.

This saved the client time and helped them to maintain existing good relationships with their employees.
